Lydia the Parrot
Lydia is often quite the parrot–she’ll repeat the last word you say to her.
Lately she’s learned when my cell phone is ringing by it’s ring tone, and adds her own little twist to it. Here’s what I’m talking about–you can hear my cell phone ringing in the background:
I know the video quality is pretty poor; it’s from my Palm Pilot. If any grandparent would like higher quality videos of their precious grandchildren (ahem), we’d be happy to point them to a variety of digital recorders that would work great!
In fact, I’m sure Lydia would like one for her birthday!

Grandma Scott
Last weekend was a busy one for us–we’ve been looking forward to the wedding of one of Trisha’s sisters, Laura, on Saturday night. The day before we left, the Lord took my Grandma Scott home, so Saturday morning we had Grandma’s funeral, and then Laura’s wedding in the evening. Talk about a full day! We’re thankful Grandma knew the Lord and is with Him now.
During the funeral my Aunt Sue and I gave testimonies; I’ll post those in the near future. The obit at left is difficult to read; if interested, it’s online here.
