Ice

March 6, 2008

I mentioned yesterday that we received a shellacking of ice. The effects have been both beautiful and disastrous for parts of our area.

Here’s Ashley’s pix from yesterday…

That last one is my favorite–the bud encased in ice. Here are some new pix from today…

Between the sun shining on the ice and the trees literally crackling (and cracking!) it was a beautiful morning!

    Hi Ash,
These pictures are awesome! There is nothing like God’s artwork!
AND the photographer is pretty “artsy” (is that a word?) herself. You have a good eye for what makes for striking pictures. Aunt Marilyn would love these for her winter screen saver. Oklahoma doesn’t have too many scenes like this so she’s benefited from our snowy winter!
    Love you, NANA

I concur with the previous comment! Those are some amazing pictures Ashley!

Hearing you talk about the trip to Walmart makes me miss home more than ever! People really are like that in small town Ohio arn’t they? Gotta Love it!
