Five Summers for Josiah
Hi, I’m Josiah, and I’m five years old.
When you’re five like me, you’ve reached that point in life where you’ve got moxie, baby!
I wonder what’s in here….
Oh boy! Look out windows and foreheads! Here I come!
Now it’s time for some food–when you’re five, you need lots of it
This is ice cream cake, folks.
Oooh! Oooh! Brain freeze! Brain freeze! Ow Ow Ow Ow Ow Ow Ow Ow Ow Ow Ow Ow
Wow, that cake sure had an effect on me! Where’s the bananas?
Josiah’s 5!
Today’s Josiah’s 5th birthday – be sure to wish him such!
Pictures will follow; in the meantime, to help you use your imagination, he got a bow-and-arrow set that has suction cups as the arrow tips. Guess what’s happening to our windows and gutters! 🙂
I guarantee you he won’t be taking any naps today!
Sunday Afternoon Naps…
…have been a “tradition” of sorts at our home.
Well, at least for the “older” and “younger” set of our family!
After I woke up and spent some time preparing for the evening service, I took a little stroll toward the back of our property along the creekside.
Looks like I wasn’t the only one taking a break and escaping the heat!
Swingin’ Around
I bought 30′ of thick rope today, drilled a couple of holes into an old piece of wood that came down the creek when it flooded this spring, and climbed precariously up 15′ our pine tree to make a great little swing for the family.
Andy and Lydia fit nicely on it. Note the sandals, Buckeyes!
Here’s Josiah in action:
